The French Federation of Automobile Repairers presented at its last general assembly, the creation of a new local structure in the Hérault department, the FNA 34.

The teams of the National Federation of Automobile and Mobility Repairers were in Montpellier to meet with professionals in the region. The federation took the opportunity to present a conference on access to technical data, hold its general assembly and announce the opening of a new local structure.

The FNA thus organized in the Equip Auto workshop area, a conference hosted by the journalist and specialist in the automotive after-sales sector Emmanuel Taillardat on the challenges and opportunities related to access to vehicle technical data and multi-brand diagnostics SERMI, Gateways, Pass thru, data generated by the vehicle, etc.

Complex and crucial subjects for independent repairers who must adapt to numerous developments in terms of regulations, technology and competition in order to continue to provide quality services while remaining competitive. To do this, they are forced to invest in training, equipment and regulatory compliance, and to constantly adapt to technological transformations and the requirements of car manufacturers.

The FNA, which has been raising its issues with institutions and manufacturers for many years, has therefore decided to take advantage of Equip Auto on Tour to present to independent repairers the actions it has undertaken to defend them and present possible solutions.

Many of them came to listen to Cédric WAUCQUIER, Managing Director of LAUNCH PRO, Yves RIOU, Specialist Consultant, Gérald SGOBBO, Vice President of the FNA, and Gaël GUILLAUME, Sales Manager at DAF Conseil, speak on the subject.

A conference on the same theme will also be offered to professionals present at the show on Saturday, September 28 in Rennes (F35).

General Meeting

The federation took advantage of its presence at the show to organize its Annual General Meeting, a key moment to define and refine its strategy. During this meeting, various essential points were discussed in order to ensure transparent management in line with expectations, including the presentation and approval of the accounts, as well as detailed reports on the finances and activities of the past year. The members also held elections for the Federal Bureau, thus ensuring renewed and dynamic governance.

The issue of employer representation was also an important point on the agenda. These discussions and decisions made it possible to reaffirm the FNA's commitment to being a federation close to its members. By strengthening its foundations and looking to the future, the FNA is positioning itself, more than ever, as the local federation, providing daily and concrete support to automotive and mobility professionals.

Opening of a new local structure: FNA 34

From now on, all automotive repairers-entrepreneurs in the department and surrounding areas will be able to exchange and interact with their colleagues in the exercise of their activity, and provide them with local services. The FNA 34 office is made up of professionals representing the trades:
• Dominique TURON, President (towing branch),
• Fabrice VIALA, Vice-President (bodywork branch),
• Antoine LAVALE, Treasurer (tire branch),
• Oucine ZAOULECH, Secretary (towing branch).

"We had identified the need for a local structure in Hérault. The creation of FNA 34 is therefore good news for our members and for repairers in the automotive and mobility sectors in general. I hope that this initiative will encourage other professionals to join us to benefit from all the advantages offered by our federation. This will strengthen our community locally, improve the competitiveness of our members and increase their capacity to respond to the specific challenges of our region,” declared Dominique Turon, President of FNA 34.
